About Maltby le Marsh
Maltby le Marsh is a linear village of some 200 properties and lies between the towns of Alford and Mablethorpe in Lincolnshire.
The village boasts a well-managed and popular Village Hall shared with the parishes of Strubby and Beesby. The Hall was refurbished in 1998/99, has a stage, is licensed and available for hire.
Oham Fishing Lakes provide fishing for all and has an equipment shop which also serves refreshments. The Outreach Post Office facility which formerly attended this site on Monday and Thursday is no longer available.
There is now only one public house in the village, the Turk's Head.
Grange Farm Park offers self-catering cottage or lodge holiday accommodation, B & B rooms or caravans, with an onsite restaurant, The Stables, and private fishing on 2 lakes.
There is a small Garden Centre, Fernlea Nurseries, and on the edge of the village The Willows Caravan Park site has a 9-hole golf course, 2 fishing lakes, tennis courts and an artificial bowls green.
